Rainier Valley Community Development Fund (RVCDF) is a catalyst for economic development that preserves and strengthens livability and diversity of South Seattle’s Rainier Valley and its surrounding communities.
RVCDF’s Board of Directors are community members who guide the strategic direction of the organization. These volunteers are visionaries who contribute to the economic betterment of at-risk communities in Seattle. Board Members dedicate their time and energy to overseeing the organization’s fiduciary responsibilities and thinking through strategies for growth that ensure the communities and organizations it serves are supported and thrive.
By joining RVCDF Board of Directors you will be able to put your skills and values into practice and secure our communities for years to come.
RVCDF strengthens cultural diversity and economic
opportunity by providing loans to small businesses, community organizations and
organizations that provide affordable housing. The majority of these loans are
to women or minority-owned businesses.
We are a self-sustaining, community-controlled financial institution dedicated to
promoting community development, diversity and economic opportunity through
responsible lending to underserved populations.
Since our inception, we have invested more than 100 million
in South Seattle. We remove barriers to financing so that small businesses and
community focused organizations can bring their ideas to life.
If your business or residence is located in southeast Seattle and your company has been in business for at least one year, Rainier Valley Community Development Fund will work with you on your specific financing needs. Take a few minutes to complete a loan inquiry now.
