The City of Seattle Office of Economic Development’s Small Business Development team provides an extensive list of resources to start or grow your business. From business planning and filing for licenses and tax registrations to learning about Seattle’s minimum wage and labor standards, the Small Business Advocates provide assistance and answers to help you get started. Seattle Public Library
The Seattle Public Library provides services to new and experienced business entrepreneurs in addition to electronic resources to plan, fund, market and operate your business. The library also hosts business assistance events at neighborhood libraries. In addition to printers and copiers, computers with internet access equipped with Microsoft Office and Adobe applications are available to library cardholders.
